Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How many dogs do you take on each hike?

A: We take anywhere from 5-8 dogs on each hike

Q: Does my dog need to have great recall to go on hikes:

A: No, most pups will naturally stick with the pack, and all new pups wear our trackers

​

Q: How do you transport the dogs?

A: They are free in the back of the car. We also have crates and a front seat separated with a metal barrier for dogs that prefer their own space.

Q: Is your catchment area strict?

A: No, we cover all of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody

​

Q: Do you do hikes 7 days a week?

A: No, we only provide hikes Monday-Friday (excluding stat holidays)

Q: Does my dog need to be spayed/neutered to join hikes?

A: If they are a male dog, yes. Due to hormones, it can create an unsafe environment for both your pup and the rest of the pack

Q: What time is pick up for the hikes?

A: Pick up for the morning hike is around 7:30-8:30am depending on your location. 

Pick up for the mid day hike can vary quite a bit but is usually around 10:45am-12:30pm

Q: Do the owners need to be home for pick up?

A: Usually no, but if it's their first hike with us we prefer the owners to be home so the pup knows it's ok to go with us

​

Q: Do you provide 1 on 1 dog walks or boarding?

A: Unfortunately no, but we usually refer clients to The Dog Patch or Good Dog

Q: Do you hike for the full 2-hours?

A: Yes, we aim to hike for the full 2 hours, however unexpected factors such as injury/weather/wildlife etc. may cause us to end the hike slightly early

Q: Can I cancel the day of?

A: Yes, you can cancel the day of, however we do charge a same-day cancellation fee of 50% of the hike. If we show up to your home and it's a no show, we charge the full hike amount. To avoid any charge, you can cancel up to the night before.
